"Il y a presque 2 ans Diane et moi nous sommes rencontrés au détour d'une compilation en ligne de La Souterraine et on a commencé à discuter de nos morceaux respectifs.

A l'époque je cherchais une voix pour accompagner des démos qui traînaient sur mon ordinateur. Dès que j'ai entendu ses morceaux j'ai su qu'il fallait que je lui propose de chanter dessus.

Diane m'a envoyé des prises par e-mail et ça a fonctionné immédiatement. Elle a ajouté sa voix magnifique, douce mais percutante. Son chant s'est parfaitement marié à mon parlé-chanté amer.

On ne s'est jamais rencontrés en vrai, ce qui nous a poussé à faire de cet album une sorte de dialogue à distance entre deux amoureux."

"Almost two years ago, Diane and I found each other thanks to an online comp: we liked each other songs and started talking about it.

At this time, I was looking for a someone to sing on some old demos which sounded like bedroom pop. When I heard her voice, I thought it was the one I was looking for.

Diane sent me some vocal takes by emails and it fit perfectly. She added her magnificent voice, both smooth and fragile, though quite percussive. It mixed very well with my bitter spoken-word and warm singing.

We never met in person (we both are from France, but we live in different city: her in Orléans, me in Paris) so we decided to make a little concept album around the idea of a long-distance call."
