Echappé de l'un des groupes rennais les plus en vue du moment (Born Idiot, signé chez Géographie Records), Lucas reste près de son micro dans Dude Low, à la différence près qu'il compose ici l'ensemble des morceaux et joue de tous les instruments.

L'EP My Days In Cosmos passe ainsi de ballades faussement naïves à des rythmes hip-hop, de tubes électro pop (Purezza) à des chansons ensoleillées (Turn Back To What You Love). Ce voyage dans le cosmos s'apparente à "un mix entre Mac Demarco et Electric Light Orchestra" d'après La Face B, et on ne peut que s'accorder avec cette définition. L'EP sort en collaboration avec Afterschool, le collectif rennais dont Dude Low est le co-créateur.

Dude Low is the solo project of Lucas, lead singer and guitarist of the French band Born Idiot. His songs are filled with sun and nostalgia, and come from electro pop (Purezza) to hip-hop rythms & bedroom pop (Turn Back To What You Love). Someone described it once as "a mix of Mac Demarco and Electric Light Orchestra" and we couldn't agree more with this definition.
